How do I shop for items?

How do I place an order?
We have made it easy for you to get your order to us in a variety of ways: right through the site, e-mail or even snail mail. All options are clearly identified while checking out.
Will my items arrive together?
Maybe not. As many of our items are made just for you, they ship as they are ready for your enjoyment. So your monogrammed pendant may come in a separate package than your flip flops or scented candle.
What are your shipping charges?
Shipping charges are additional and depend on your location and how fast you want your items.
Do you ship anywhere in the world?
Right now we ship primarily to the US and Canada. If you are an International shopper in love with an item, contact us and we can make arrangements before you place your order.
How fast do you ship?
99% of the time, we ship out within a week after your payment has cleared USPS Priority Mail or similar. Although some items made fresh just for you may definitely take longer. If you have any special instructions, please let us know and we will do our best to comply.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express as well as PayPal, Checks and Money Orders.
Do you charge sales tax?
We are required by Massachusetts law to charge sales tax on all products shipped within the state. All orders shipped outside of Massachusetts are not taxable.
What is your return policy?
We will be glad to make an exchange or credit your credit card account for any items you are not completely happy with. The item must be returned to The Flip Flop Life within 21 days of receipt in perfect condition and original packaging. Please note that monogrammed items are purchased with an "absolutely no return policy" and will not be accepted back. You may want to insure your securely wrapped prepaid package as we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. Returns which are received after 21 days are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping and handling on returned merchandise is non-refundable.

Under no circumstances will we sell, trade or donate your personal information to anyone! We require personal information only for the purpose of verifying credit card purchases and delivery requests.
Are your items ever out of stock?
We make every effort to have our items in stock. Ocassionally, due to high demand, some of our items may be backordered and take 2-5 weeks for delivery. If we are out of stock or back ordered on certain items, we will notify you by e-mail right away.
